Heyy, I'm Val! I'm the creator and only member of this archive, a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, autistic as hell, and I go by any pronouns!
Welcome to Midnight Queer Archive! This site started out as a massive, unfinished Google Slides deck that I decided to turn into a Neocities site. It's built to be a quiet, accessible digital shelf for documenting LGBTQ+ terms, history, feminism, and community resources without blinding white backgrounds or overwhelming clutter.

Before You Browse
First things first: being LGBTQ+ isn't wrong or up for debate. Gender and attraction are just basic parts of who people are—not a choice, a trend, or some "agenda" that hurts anyone. Treating people's identities and boundaries with respect is the bare minimum, not something optional or something people have to earn.
As for this site, Midnight Queer Archive is a solo passion project! I'm just a very hyperfixated autistic person trying to organize as much info as possible about LGBTQ+ labels, history, and feminism into one place so people can actually learn without getting flashbanged by bright screens.
I am definitely not a professional researcher or scholar, just someone gathering info from all over the web. Language and community terms change constantly, so there might be typos, outdated info, or things I missed. If you spot an error or have suggestions, feel free to let me know so I can keep making this archive better!
A Note on Languages: I would love to make this site available in different languages, especially Spanish as it's my mother tongue! However, since English is the primary language of most of my sources—and because it's just me working on this archive (and I can't magically learn a dozen languages overnight; all I know is English, Spanish, and a bit of Italian!), I have to stick to English. I don't intend on translating the site for the time being mostly for my sanity, but I apologize for any inconvenience! ♡
